Workshop overview

Change has been a central topic in research across many disciplines. This workshop intends to connect scholars from different disciplines that investigate change, such as management and organization research, climate change research, physics, linguistics and biology. A central theme of the workshop are the insights generated by the ‘Routines.Research.Community’, which has been investigating change of organizational routines over the last two decades. The aim of the workshop, thus, is to stimulate a discussion about change across disciplinary boundaries and to transfer, synthesize and generate new knowledge about this important concept.

For more information about the guests and the program, read our invitation to the workshop: https://www.hadw-bw.de/en/young-academy/win-kolleg/win8/de-stabilizing-change/news

Location

The workshop is held at the ‘Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities’. Heidelberg is arguably one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, with its historical city center and situated in a picturesque countryside. The location can easily be reached with public transportation. The ‘Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities’ is a learned society of eminent scientists with international reputation, looking back on a history of more than 100 years.
