Reuchlin Award

The Reuchlin Award honors outstanding German-language work in the humanities. This award is awarded every three years by the City of Pforzheim (external link).

The Donor

In 1955, to mark the 500th anniversary of the birth of Johannes Reuchlin—arguably Pforzheim’s most famous son—the Pforzheim City Council established the award to promote the humanities.
