Organization of the Young Academy

The Young Academy brings together various funding initiatives of the Academy:

In the WIN Kolleg, early-career researchers from Baden-Württemberg independently lead interdisciplinary projects (internal link). The WIN Kolleg is divided into WIN subprograms, typically lasting five years, which in turn comprise several research projects. Membership in the WIN Kolleg is limited to the duration of active participation in one of the ongoing research topics.

The Academy Kolleg promotes dialogue between young and experienced scientists and across disciplines. Members of the Academy College include the Academy’s award recipients, alumni of the WIN Kolleg, and early-career researchers from Baden-Württemberg appointed by the Academy. Membership lasts five years and may be extended once upon request.

The WIN-Conferences (internal link) enable early-career researchers in Baden-Württemberg to host international, interdisciplinary conferences that they have independently conceived and organized.
