Duration: 1998 to 2002

Hemorrhagic fever caused by hantavirus infections results in several hundred deaths in China every year. In Europe, too, life-threatening hantavirus variants have become increasingly common in recent years. The goal of this research project was to produce human monoclonal antibodies recombinantly from patients in remission.
